Mother’s Day Mini Session Model Call | Fresno, California Family Photographer

This Mother’s Day mini session was such a sweet and special evening to photograph. One of my dear friends volunteered to model for my upcoming Mother’s Day minis, and I truly could not have asked for a more perfect duo. She brought along her adorable son, who I absolutely adore, and they showed up wearing the most beautiful neutral outfits that fit the vision perfectly.

From the very beginning, the session felt effortless and full of joy. We spent the evening running around, playing tag, capturing candid moments, and simply letting them enjoy time together naturally. Her son had the absolute best time exploring, laughing, and soaking in every second with his mom. Some of my favorite moments were watching him pick flowers for her and seeing the huge smile on her face as they played together.

As the sun began to set, the lighting turned soft and golden, creating the dreamiest atmosphere for their photos. We captured sweet cuddles, quiet moments, and genuine connection between the two of them. These are the kinds of sessions that remind me how important it is to photograph motherhood exactly as it is—playful, loving, emotional, and full of little in-between moments that mean everything.

This session perfectly represented the vision I had for my Mother’s Day mini sessions in Fresno, California, and I’m so incredibly thankful to my friend for trusting me, supporting my creative ideas, and volunteering to model for me. It ended up being such a beautiful evening filled with laughter, love, and memories I’ll always cherish.
