Posh Mama Group Event in Fresno, California | Women Supporting Women & a Meaningful Cause
This event was one of the most powerful and heartfelt sessions I’ve had the honor of capturing. A couple of months ago, the founder of the Posh Mama Group — an empowering Instagram-based community for women and mothers here in Fresno — reached out because she needed both a photographer and videographer for an upcoming event. I was so excited when she chose me, because working alongside women who lift one another up is exactly the kind of environment I love to be part of.
What made this event especially meaningful was its purpose: the entire brunch was organized to support and donate to the Marjaree Mason Center, Fresno’s local women’s shelter for survivors of domestic violence. During the gathering, one of the speakers from the center shared powerful stories and insight about the work they do — and I’d be lying if I said I didn’t get a little teary-eyed. Hearing the strength behind these stories and witnessing a room full of women showing support was incredibly moving.
The brunch itself was warm, beautiful, and full of connection. Moms, business owners, creatives, and local women all gathered together with one purpose: to support one another and uplift a cause that deeply matters. The energy in the room was inspiring, and the conversations were full of encouragement, gratitude, and genuine care.
Being able to photograph and film such an impactful event reminded me exactly why I love what I do. Capturing real moments, real emotions, and real community — especially through groups that empower women — is something I’ll never take for granted. I’m so grateful for this partnership with the Posh Mama Group and for the chance to document such a meaningful part of their mission.
