Second Shooting a Dreamy Wolf Lakes Park Wedding in Sanger, California
One of my favorite wedding experiences so far has to be second shooting at the breathtaking Wolf Lakes Park in Sanger, California. If you’ve never been to this venue, it’s truly a hidden gem near Fresno — complete with sparkling lakes, lush greenery, and the most magical ceremony views.
I had the honor of working alongside my photography mentor, who has been guiding me since the very beginning of my photography journey about a year ago. Every time I work under him, I walk away with new skills, more confidence, and a deeper appreciation for the wedding industry. Second shooting has become such a valuable part of my growth, and I’m forever grateful for these opportunities.
This was a seven-hour wedding day, full of beautiful moments from start to finish. One of the most unforgettable parts was the groomsmen’s grand entrance by boat — yes, a boat! They rode across the water to the ceremony site, and it was one of the coolest groom entrances I’ve ever seen.
The bride was absolutely radiant, and her bridesmaids wore different colored dresses that complemented each other perfectly. Everywhere I looked, there was another beautiful photo opportunity — from willow trees and glowing water reflections to soft golden-hour light.
During dinner, heartfelt speeches were shared, and listening to the couple’s love story truly moved me. I’ll admit — I got a little teary-eyed behind the camera.
Being a wedding photographer in the Fresno and Central California area, I love getting to document love stories in places that are as magical as Wolf Lakes Park. Whether I’m the lead shooter or second shooting, I pour my heart into capturing genuine, timeless memories.
This wedding was not only stunning but also such a fun and uplifting experience. I left feeling inspired, grateful, and even more in love with what I do.
Thinking about getting married at Wolf Lakes Park or planning a wedding in Fresno, Clovis, or the surrounding Central Valley? I’d love to capture your day — whether as a lead photographer or second shooter.
