Every once in a while, I get an inquiry that instantly makes me smile — and this was definitely one of those moments. A sweet mom reached out through my website saying she wanted a Western-styled senior photo shoot for her daughter. And if you know me, you know that Western is my bread and butter! I was already excited before we even started planning.
After sending a few inspiration photos with potential locations, she immediately said, “That’s perfect.” So we locked it in and met early on a Sunday morning when the sun was glowing and the light was absolutely perfect. Golden sunshine, fresh air, mountains in the distance — I just knew we were in for a beautiful session.
A Sunrise Senior Session Full of Laughter & Western Vibes
This was a 60-minute session with two outfit changes, which gave us the perfect variety. We started in a full Western look with the mountains behind her — boots, hat, confidence, and all. She absolutely owned it. We shared so many laughs while getting to know one another, and I could immediately tell this senior has a bright future ahead of her.
After the first look, we switched to another stunning spot in the same vicinity — right by the river. The water, sun reflections, and soft tones made for the dreamiest backdrop. Between the natural scenery and her personality shining through every pose, it couldn’t have been more perfect.
