One of my favorite things about being a photographer is getting to watch families grow over time. I first met this sweet mama about five or six months ago when I took her maternity photos while she was pregnant with her second baby girl. So when she reached out a few months later asking if I could take their updated family photos for the fall, I was over the moon!
Getting to see her again — and finally meeting her newest little one — was such a special experience. Her baby girl was the absolute sweetest, full of smiles and cuddles, and you could just feel the love radiating from this family.
When we arrived for our session, it felt less like a photoshoot and more like catching up with an old friend. We talked about life updates, shared stories, and laughed so much in between shots. The entire experience was so natural that you’d never even know we were in the middle of a photography session — and that’s exactly what I love most about family photography in Fresno.
These are the kinds of sessions that fill my heart. They remind me that photography is more than just taking pictures — it’s about connection, storytelling, and building relationships over time. Watching this family grow has been such an honor, and I’m already looking forward to the next time we get to update their photos again.
