Fresh 48 Session in Fresno, California | Welcoming a Sweet Baby Boy
Back in June, I shared that I would be offering Fresh 48 sessions, and shortly after, this sweet mama reached out to me letting me know she was expecting a baby boy in November. From the very beginning, I could feel how intentional and loving this season of life was for her and her family, and I was so honored when she trusted me to document it.
After welcoming a beautiful and healthy baby boy through a home birth, I came over just two days later to photograph this special Fresh 48 session as they transitioned into a family of four. The environment was calm, cozy, and filled with so much love. Being in their home made the session feel incredibly intimate and real — no rush, no pressure, just quiet moments of connection as they soaked in their newest addition.
We captured so many meaningful moments — tiny details, sweet snuggles, proud parents, and the gentle adjustment of becoming a family of four. These are the moments that pass so quickly, yet mean everything. Fresh 48 sessions hold such a special place in my heart because they tell a story that can never be recreated.
By the end of this session, I realized something really special — these weren’t just clients to me anymore. We built such a genuine bond during our time together that I truly consider them friends now. I am forever grateful that this mama trusted me to document such a sacred and beautiful season of her life. Being invited into moments like this is something I will never take for granted.
